Here’s the skinny:
I’m working on some business growth goals. In so doing, I’m working with a biz coach who has challenged me to post one of my “entry points” for folks to get to know my business and me a bit through a giveaway of an e-book on my website. I’m sure most of you are familiar with this kind of online business strategy and probably most of you, at one point or another, have entered your “first name and email address” to get something free a business was offering.
Here’s the rest of the “skinny”:
A.K.A. – What I Really Need from You
The “freebie” I’m offering is a downloadable pdf on how to warm up and cool down your voice
effectively. (You may have noticed it glaring at you from the sidebar in various locations on the site. LOL) Although it’s valuable and I do want you to have it, that’s not really why I need your help in this. What I’m *really* trying to do is **discipline myself** for the next seven days to write 7 emails to those who “subscribe” by requesting the freebie. Historically, I’ve been absolutely horrible at consistency with communicating to those interested in A Higher Note. So, what I would like to ask you to do is monitor my emails for seven days, whether you care about vocal performance or music lessons and whatnot – or not. After that point, please don’t hesitate to unsubscribe!
In the meantime, while you’re receiving and monitoring my emails, please feel free to write back to me with any comments and thoughts you have (hopefully they’re thoughtful comments… 
) about the helpfulness of the emails and the effectiveness of the content. I’m also interested in my tone and your overall impression.
Don’t overthink it and don’t spend long on it. I don’t want to take up too much of your time in this, so I’m interested in immediate impressions and thoughts.
